Sponsor a Child

Sponsoring children has been one of the best experiences I have ever had. You don't have to have a lot of money or time to be able to make an impact. I previously wrote about how you can sponsor a child for free and still make a huge difference for that child.

My husband and I sponsor two girls in Africa. Tuyisingize is our youngest and first sponsor child who lives in Rwanda. Anisetha is our older child and lives in Tanzania. Both girls have brought joy to our lives and I love knowing that we are making a difference in theirs as well.

             

Larissa is our newest sponsor child from Brazil. We are her correspondent sponsor and are responsible for writing her letters. She has a financial sponsor and we can send her gifts. She considers us her sponsors since we will be building a personal relationship with her.

Sponsoring a child is easy. It's only $38 per month and it provides the child with fresh water, food, schooling, and so much more. You can even search for a child by age, gender, country, or even one with a specific birthday! The sponsorships are tax-deductible and you are even able to contribute more if you like for special occasions {birthdays, Christmas, a child's graduation, etc.}.

Along with the financial gift you are providing, you also get the opportunity to write to your child as often as you like! You are guaranteed to get at least three letters per year from your child updating you and telling you all about them. Of course, your letters are received with great anticipation and treasured beyond belief.
