Friday Letters

Photobucket

Dear Allstate... Thank you for getting my claim done so quickly. I can't wait to go get the diamond in my engagement ring replaced next week! I am also happy that I was able to talk to a different adjuster who made it possible to go through my jeweler, not some place that never called me back.

Dear One Tree Hill... I just started watching you on Netflix a few weeks ago and I have to say that it has provided me with so much entertainment. I can't wait for the final season to get on Netflix so that when I'm finished with these, I can watch it.

Dear Mom... I am so happy you called me back last night, but I couldn't pick up the phone because it was time for bed and I had to be up super early to take Phil to work. I realize you live on the West Coast, but the three hour time difference does exist and when you are done with dinner, I'm going to bed. I love you anyways and will call you today.

Dear Brother 1034d Serger... you are the newest and most awesome addition to my sewing room. I got you yesterday and breezed through threading and making some new products. You are amazing and it was a great purchase.

Friday Letters

Photobucket

Today I'm writing some letters...

Dear Parents/Caregivers/Chaperones... Please watch your children when you are out. I have no problem telling your kids to "watch out, knock it off, or to stop it" and neither should you.

Dear Pageant Moms (on Toddlers & Tiaras)... I understand that you feel the need to live vicariously through your children, but get a grip! Spray tanning your 3-5 year old is not ok and neither is making your young child look like they are an adult. It's weird, but I still find you entertaining.

Dear People With Poor Grammar... "You did good" is not grammatically correct. Good is supposed to be used as an adjective to describe something (i.e. good job). Well is the word you are looking for. You're welcome.

Dear Lazy People in the Laundry Room... Please get your clothes out of the washer or dryer within 5-10 minutes of the load being done. I don't want to touch your clothes, but I will. I am not as patient as my husband and I will not drive to another building because you are too lazy to come get your clothes.

That is all :)

We Have a Full Day Ahead of Us

Moving day is tomorrow and I couldn't be more excited! There's still a few small things to pack, but all of the big things are packed away in boxes, labeled, and have a post-it on it with a color to show what room it belongs in. Yes, I am one of those people when it comes to moving.

I am also loving my job right now. It gives me so much flexibility and allows me to change things last minute. That's the great thing about being a teacher!
We still have a lot to do today that is not packing related, but that's ok. I welcome other things at this point. Some of the things we have to do today are:
  1. Go to the Circuit Court to get our marriage license (yay!)
  2. Go check out and decide on the tuxes the men are wearing.
  3. *Hopefully, pick up the key for the new apartment!!!
  4. Get Phil's desk and computer ready to move. It would be a lot easier to do now with the truck we're getting rather than waiting until February.
  5. Finish packing my apartment.
  6. Go to the bank to get the certified check for the first month's rent.
  7. Pay rent at my other apartment.
I'm sure there's tons more, but that's all I can think of right now.

ps...I'm also ecstatic that our wreaths came in and the bridesmaid's gifts came in today as well!!!
